If we are buying Brewster, A second CB loan? Trained by himself today at Man Utd, had a good spell at Roma but looking like they wont finance another spell

My thinking is signing Smalling would let Ampadu settle in the RCM role, similar to how Osborn was lwb before settling at lcm (which imo improved him a lot)

i feel Smalling would be a good rotation option for both Bash RCB and Egan CB, lets face it Jags did not look upto it in pre-season, it would not hurt to have better backup for Egan

As bad as it sounds i think hes above us. Plus i imagine its the old wages scenario, he'll probably get snapped up by someone with no monetary sense.

Be right waste of a loan and a totally pointless signing. Not because he's not a half decent player (as proven in Italy) but the move makes no sense at all.

reportedly on 70k per week which isnt out of the realm of our wage structure, would cost 2.6m for a season
