First time seen the kid in the flesh and he's got it all. Duffy quite rightly MOM but Brooks movement and pace is a blend that is going to be too good for a lot of sides at this level, was also surprised how tall and physical he was as well. We need to keep him for this season at least.

So unlucky not to get the goal, but I hope Wilder has a word after he ran off celebrating before it went in

Wilders treating him right imo.

Giving him gradual exposure to first team action and showing that he trusts him in tight games etc. He's a different option to Duffy but also an effective one.

Like watching him play he's exciting and not scared to try things.

Suspect he might start in the cup against Leicester.

Needs some more meat on his bones, too lightweight, but as a footballer: quality

Deserved a goal today.

He caused them problems today and he could have setup Evans for a goal as well.

More weight spoils him, his frame and speed are perfect for a player with his qualities. A very early comparison of the way he moves and beats players without trying is that of Chris Waddle (spit).

It's not weight he needs it's strength . He'll develop in every way at this rate though .

Glad the ball rolled along the line and then out, we don't need any more publicity for this lad.

No we don't !!!!
Otherwise the Prem clubs will be offering their massive one million pound standard rate for one of our youngsters.

The worst thing is that we'll then go and buy two carthorses with a piece of the money

I think every time he went forward today he created something, the near goal in particular.

He offers us a more direct outlet. Earlier in the game we messed about a bit too much with getting ball forwards and ran in to dead ends when there was other better options available. Brooks has the ability and desire to beat a man and take the game to the opposition. If he can keep it up, he has a very good future ahead of him. I hope it is with us.
