Ferdinand did a podcast last year and Samuel came up. QPR were desperate to get him on another contract so they could recoup some money when he inevitably went for a fee. Did it with Eze. Said they'd never stand in the way of a move but Samuel had his head turned. So they stuck him in the U23s until he left.

Or just get a good agent. They’re not all unscrupulous bastards who want to shaft everyone, the smart ones know that if they steer their clients’ careers properly, in the long run they’ll earn more money because they’ll never be short of clients.

Utd are so far from being able to buy Brooks back, even if they wanted to (perhaps to replace Rodwell in order to keep the club doctor and physio busy!) it's untrue.
