An ode to our Bill.

A poster called Flawed tried to write
A limerick who’s vein was quite trite
Saying the Young Spaniards was crap
So why didn’t he shut his trap
Because the verse and the rhyme was just shite!

First, second, and fifth lines should have the same number of syllables. You could correct this by saying "the goalkeepers" and "the defenders" to keep the rhythm intact.

5/10. Lost points for lack of proper structure and referring to a limerick as an ode but I do look forward to your future work.

An interjection by LenTednTony!
Seems to written with some acrimony
A young spaniard he does seek
alas he lacks the technique
Thus he returns, to his Shetland pony.

Along came a poster called Pokerblade
A flaw in our limericks, he dismayed
5/10 he said
Whilst reading this thread
Making it rhyme? He was afraid

(on a side note: you lot better be hoping Samsung repair my TV quick or I'm doing this shit all night every night) :D

Sometimes it feels like nobody cares about the traditional structure of the limerick.

Fortunately I know deep down that's not true.

Can someone repair a TV ?
I'll fucking well pay for it , me
To stop all this shite
That will go on all night
( and chuck in a toaster , for free )

There was a young fellow called something
who, something, something, something
he something, something
and something, something
and something, something, something.
