did Sky really say Duffy had been a scaffolder ten minutes before £10 million quids worth of forward was unveiled,.

Duffy was a scaffolder that's true. And a council sports coach. Chris Basham worked at McDonalds while Jimmy Hanson stacked shelves at the Co-Op. Contrast this to them lot, millionaires with careers handed to them on a plate and not a single days regular work in their lives. Now look who won....and wonder why....

Coutts worked in the oil industry for a while.
 
Makes them appreciate their job now I expect, and how fortunate they are.
Like Vardy and many others, they have earned their time in the spotlight.

I suspect this is why the Blades academy send all their new apprentices out on work experience. To give them a taste of the lives some players have before making it as a pro.
