    Default Little reaction?

Is it me or has this place been like a graveyard since the Derby? What's happened to the match threads with everyone putting their thoughts on the game like used to happen?

Where are you? Where are you?

Ok well Santos, here is my contribution - just for you.

I thought we were the better side yesterday. I saw some controlled passing football, something which my eyes have sadly missed for many years now, and i was actually quite impressed. Morgan was a complete rock at the back and kept what looked like a week back 4 together. Cresswell and Monty were outstanding, Williamson impressed again and (even from a knocker) thought Quinn was quite good too! We were in charge for large chunks of the game, and i think we would have hit the top 6 if we could have replicated this type of performance throughout the season. Wednesday look a poor side, with very little about them going forward and you can easily see why they're at the bottom however, i would gladly take Beevers i think hes a decent player. A draw possibly a fair result however i do think we were the better side and could have gone on to win it. Having said that, with those chances at the end we could have lost it too!!

Simonsen 8 - Good keeper, may upset some people when i say it hink ehs better than paddy. Never going to sign him though!

Taylor 6 - slightly under-rated i think. Good going forward and does a lot of ground work. Just lacks a certain quality

Morgan 8.5 - MOM - Class as ever. Just what you want in a derby, grit, determination, and a cool head.

Nozzer 6 - Can't say I will be upset if he goes back. Reasonable defender, but he worries me on the ball.

Connolly 5 - Average to me. Lacks pace, creativity and position. But maybe that's because im comparing him to Walker!!

Montgomery 8 - Did what Monty does and even made some decent passes along the way. Great job.

Quinn 7 - Best game in a while. Made some good runs and passes, they seemed to give him too much respect really.

Williamson 8 - Big fan, good on the ball, good delivery, and got that all important goal. Dont care if he ment it or not!

Harper 5.5 - Ineffective, does little other than alot of pointing. Not fussed if he doesnt stay either!

Henderson 6 - Good in the air but not really a lot else. Ok, but could have worked harder i thought.

Cresswell 8 - Has won me over. Worked his bollocks off. Never stopped running, and he looked a rayt hard nut after getting smashed in the face! Typical SUFC player with a good eye for goal. Excellent yesterday, probably deserved a goal, I would have like to have seen his celebration!!

Camera 7.5 - tricky, quick and good movement. caused a lot of trouble.

Bartley 6 - Not really involved, did what he needed to do.

Little 7 - good delivery, not a lot else.

    Will that do?

    A Day At SUFC:
    Matchday travel - £15
Matchday Food and Drink - £12
Sitting in the kop for 90mins slagging the team off, but getting majorly offended when someone else does it - priceless!

I hope they weigh up the keeper options carefully Simonsen seems highly regarded but probably wouldn't fork over the cash for him.
Paddy might never regain the form he had .A season off for any professional in any sport is a very difficult to overcome many never do recover the same skills.

I think Simonsen would like to sign, and as Bennett is retiring we need another keeper as well as the Estonian. I dont think there are any young keepers on the fringes for us so maybe we could do a deal?
saying that though we still need another 13 players just for next season!
