You think Dearden is better than Jones?

Only about seven when Jones left so didn't see much of him. Always thought dearden proved to be adequate replacement

It's interesting that most people who are dropping a centre back are dropping O'Connell rather than Wilson.
I'm not sure why as O'Connell has been wholly or partly responsible for 2 or 3 of the goals conceded in the last two games.
Including losing the ball by overplaying against Southend and the inexplicable handball against Millwall.
If we are looking to make a change at centre back, I would be keeping Wilson in ahead of O'Connell at the moment.

I like the idea of Basham sitting just in front of the back four to give them extra protection.
I'm not sure that he offers much from an attacking point of view but he could be ideal in that position.

I just have to laugh at these stats because we have a loss nailed on then

We first need to get some basics right and make ourselves difficult to beat. Part of that is getting a settled back four so I'm inclined not to change that despite some concerns. Secondly we need to look at the attacking selection and shape as its not working. I would lineup as follows:-

This only serves as a reminder that we need 3 or 4 more players but that eleven has the best balance and energy to me.

Assuming nobody is signed ahead of the game, I'll go wth the personnel I think best fit CW's preferred formation of 4-2-3-1. I don't think it would do anything to help the Sharp situation if so.
