Jonathan forte the latest player to manage scoring goals for other clubs but was awful when he was here last, 3 in as many games for him, Add him to that long list that includes the likes of sharpe and king who happily scored at other clubs.
 

Do you have to use that language on a thread title? Some young kids read this website.

When it mattered, he scored fuck all and got us relegated. 2 1/2 years into his contract he started and then got banged up for rape before he could start to substantially repay our enormous outlay.

The gap between perception and reality is as wide as possible here. He was a fucking disaster for us.

His return and possible next goal drought will make the Billy Sharp fiasco look like a lottery win.

Of course, spit roasting a blind drunk bird as your mates recorded it through a budget hotel window whilst he was being paid 20k per week was definitely not down to bad luck.

Oh wow 3 goals in 3 games, Oldham must be loving being top of the division .. oh wait.
We have had our share of great strikers over the years, Evans - Beattie - Hulse doesn't mean success, even with their goals we failed promotion from the championship/ league one and got relegated from the prem.
Its nice to have a reliable striker to recall on, but goals need to come all over the field if we ever want to achieve promotion in any league, got to also keep clean sheets, but you should not have to rely on one striker to score 20+ goals a season.
Some strikers work out some don't, Sharp was overshadowed by Beattie, King wasn't here for long, he also was playing under Weir and Forte was played on the wings if I recall correctly.

Ok so unto Forte. another player who suddenly becomes a great player after he left us in the eyes of some.
