I called and asked about this after Clough was let go; suggested we tried a manager with a different name. I spoke to ex-player, Tony Currie (XTC). He said, 'we're only making plans for Nigels'.


I didn't bring a coat. I didn't think I'd need one.

Here's some more irrelevant coincidence.

According to wiki both Clough and Adkins are called Nigel Howard. We also had a manager called Howard.

Clough's son is called William, like Warnock's.

We have had two confectionery based managers: Bassett's Allsorts and Kendall Mint Cake.
