I thought he played well at Fulham aswell sitters. His one outstanding game was at Coventry or Northampton to be precise ,tidy player but not enough for our level.

Good point ,I think there is a good player in McGinn trying to get out. Collins will be on big money for our league I think ,be good as a makeweight though. Also thought he was outstanding in the Notts County game when we opened the season on a Friday night Sitters but pretty much rapidly downhill from there, shame, wish him well. Also amazed that no one has come in for Collins could still do a decent job for someone.

McGinn was one those players who comes, goes and you will never really remember until about 20 years later when you reminiscing about the shit time, and the players who played. The conversation will go something like this. "That Weir side was shite", "Yeah, look who he signed, Brandy, that kids who had scored loads of goals in Scotland, what was his name now?, and that other Scottish lad from Watford, Whatshisname?"

There was never a thing wrong with him when he played in Doyles' role,he's younger, his passing was better and could read the game quite well.Good luck to him.And in the next game when Doyle was also suspended. McGinn has decent attributes for a defensive midfielder, but those games apart, he was never allowed to play in that role. As an advanced midfielder he was far to immobile and limited, and Clough took too long to realise that. McGinn should specialise in a holding role from now on.

Agreed, I thought we'd signed a great player after that game. He was okay but often a bit anonymous. Maybe one where the system has to suit him rather than him fit the system. . . Which is why I'd be a crap manager, it's all about the blend. . . He goes with my best wishes thoAlso thought he was outstanding in the Notts County game when we opened the season on a Friday night Sitters but pretty much rapidly downhill from there, shame, wish him well. Presume so he can make this move permy - without at fee for the Marmalade boys
Yep, it was like trying to sign Carlton Coal and realising afterwards that we had signed his brother Nat KingWas it him that had a much better brother that we once tried to sign?
Anyway good luck to him.
Heard good things about him at watford but never really did it for me
