I can't understand how Collin's walked( hobbled?) straight into the Vale team either!

The feedback's a bit worrying about Long...hopefully he can get some consistent solid performances behind him.
Good opportunity for Wallace to get some proper match fitness and sharpen up..think he'll do ok for them at this stage of his career.

People were clamouring for his (Collins) return to be fair.

Think all three will leave. Unfortunately there'll be no place for Long as Willis is waiting in the wings.
 
I believe that once he's settled and has picked up some more game time, Collins will be a decent loan signing for Vale. As for George..?, continues to be an enigma.

Collins unfortunately is passed his sell buy date , but fans were calling for him , because he is a recognised CB and would assist in not having to play Beard or Bash out of position. Desperate times mean desperate measures .

George may be a enigma , but we have many a player at the moment , who are falling into the realms of being a enigma , as we have midfielders.

Clough is the boss at the lane , rightly or wrongly , we will find if he is going from last seasons hero , to this seasons zero. Hope its the first . Players are players , balls are balls . Lets see if our lot have em from saturday onwards.

So if JCR isn't playing why haven't we recalled him? He can't be any worse than Davies
 
If Collins is played as the main centre half he struggles, he's not got the build to play that role. If he plays as the second centre half playing alongside a big dominant defender he's more than adequate and has proved that in the 3 seasons paired with Maguire. Collins and Butler for United would have been a better partnership than any we've had this season imo
