Yes he's a right back, but the great thing is he can also play other positions meaning he can slot in for Brayford if he gets forward, he can play left back too and as we've seen he can also get forward too and either hold the ball or deliver great crosses into the box.

I never understand why people want to fix players positions. Some are specialists yes but most want us to have overlapping fullbacks and when Freeman plays there he is more attack minded than anyone in the team which actually makes him a worse defender for it. So why should he not be able to do it from right mid? At Notts when he came on he may have even played further forward and held the ball up wonderfully.

He's a good squad player but we needed quality. He did that in done but if he had brought in a quality out and out right winger how much would that have improved us. Freeman can do a job but we need match winners.
