United's U21s are now ten games unbeaten in the Professional Development League, following Monday's victory over Nottingham Forest at Wilford Lane.
Harrison McGahey with his second in as many games got the game's decisive goal, reacting first after the home goalkeeper failed to deal with a Louis Reed free-kick from the right wing, after a foul on Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Bob Harris and Florent Cuvelier, in addition to Reed and Calvert-Lewin all completed 90 minutes as the Blades completed a league double over the Reds, who are competing with United for a top two finish.
And in the opinion of Coach Travis Binnion, who took the team alongside John Dungworth and Brian Deane, the win was fully deserved.
Binnion remarked: "We dominated from start to finish in difficult conditions and the players deserve all the credit.
"We never looked like conceding and that takes some doing against a Forest side that are always a threat in both the U18s and U21s.
"Louis Reed was excellent, whilst Dominic Calvert-Lewin led the line very well. Bob Harris and Flo Cuvelier both got full games under their belts too, so all in all everything went very well."
Blades: Ramsdale, Gordon, Harris, Reed, McGahey, Kelly, Cuvelier, Whiteman, Calvert-Lewin, De Girolamo (Hall 33), K. Smith (Gilmour 77).
Unused: Brooks, Perryman, Semple.
