All very quiet at the minute, not much happening since McFadz went to Burton. The odd rumour but not one about signing a centre back.

Certainly hope we get a commanding right sided one in before Bolton, it's the most important signing we'll make.

Think Wilder will have it sorted pretty soon. Wilson did OK yesterday but I assume was bought as cover for right sided centre half and full back. The only genuine cover we have for right side centre back at present is Basham and Wilders already said he wants him in the middle.

Just beacuse the local press came out with Clarke doesn't mean other deals aren't ongoing. I remember a few days ago they were saying about potentially a loan winger from the prem coming in etc.

Wilson looks okay and is a decent player at league one level. Ideally we need better but if it takes a few weeks then so be it.
