We do of course need to have willing buyers of our deadwood. Which if they were there Tuesday night has presumably decreased in number.

Our best bet to getting rid of players currently is to on absolutely no circumstance allow them to be seen at first team level to put people off. Get them away from the shop window and hidden behind a mysterious curtain at the back – there's a description of what they should be, just enough to raise interest ("Oooh, a left-sided Scottish under-21 international! Here's a 'promising Scouse midfielder', but someone's crossed out the warranty information. And look at that there, an Italian!"), but all recent information on first team activity is sadly unavailable.
