I was going to ask whether Billy was sharp the other night but realised in the nick of time that the thread would take a different direction. Which got me thinking about Blades with apt surnames. I thought of Billy Sharp, George Long, Gary Speed and Doc Pace while I was out running this morning, can we get a full team?

Johnannes Ohwhathtefuckwasthatsupposedtobe.

Dennis Longhorn..at least according to an old schoolgirl mate of mine back in around1977.

If we did end up signing Harley Deane, he'd tick the apt Christian name box too.

aga na ,,,, not really a cooker
Booker ,,, sells booking great holidays
Gannon ,,,, geordie leaving

I sense that some of you aren't taking this seriously, so let's open it up to include players who probably wish they had a different surname, starting with Adrian Littlejohn.
