So we have it , the battle of the beards. Who has the best , Trevor Hockey or John Brayford?
When I was a nipper my brother had a picture of TC above his bed but I had one of Trevor Hockey.

Now i'm older and a fully grown man,i have a picture of John Brayford above my bed,a mini photo in my wallet and another mini one on my key ring.All this just incase the Cardiff fans were ever in doubt of the affection us Blades have shown to the beard

Trevor Hockey was on of my all time favorite players - when he arrived our midfield got bite. His job was simple - win the ball and give it to TC. Such a shame that the broken leg curtailed his SUFC career, an even bigger shame that he died so young. RIP Trevor

Hard man from Keighley who had a Triumph Vitesse covered in velvetex - many different thoughts on what colour it was. I think it was pink but then he did have a pink piano!

Long read here but extremely interesting and worth persevering with and people often forget he was capped nine times for Wales

Trevor Hockey lived up the road from me when I was 8-10 years old on Jowitt Ave ,you couldn't miss his car ,a blue velvet covered Triumph Vitesse which I used to shampoo for Bob a Job week. I hope Brayford is good enough to get the cult status that Hockey did ,not quite there yet.
